Subject: Electric Bill
Hello there,
We moved into our house here in Pittsboro in October. It was built in 1958 but does have new windows. So far, our electric bills have been $250+ every month. Our home is only 1200 sq/ft. There’s only two of us and it hasn’t even been that cold this winter. I know the attic might need more insulation (would appreciate any recommendations for people to do that) but are outrageously high energy bills common for this area or something? We had Duke Energy in Raleigh but the bills were normal in our 1980s townhouse. Help!
