Subject: Yeah, John Bonitz!
Thank you Pittsboro voters for reelecting John Bonitz to serve us for 4 more years. While at best Kyle Shipp and John Bonitz on the board will work for keeping environmental priorities at the forefront and working to manage careful growth, we may still have a 3-2 problem with town board letting Chatham Park run over the Pittsboro community and run amuck on the forests and the Haw River (just look at the red dirt and 5 red lights they’re causing at 64 and 15-501). Jay Farrell won the 3rd position by only 32 votes over Bridget Perry. We can only hope that he will become a more conscientious commissioner who promotes the protection of trees and other natural resources we’ll need with climate change impacting our lives and future environment.
