Subject: Regarding anonymous posters and Pittsboro elections
We appreciate the message from Gene as well as the input from Leda Hartman.
We will assume that her constructive critique covers all anonymous posters and not just us.
Perhaps we were a bit pointed.
But the fact remains. Commissioner Bonitz did state at a forum that Pittsboro needs a strong board—an interesting slam on the current board that he sits upon.
He did make direct statements against Chatham Park that will make it difficult to find common ground.
And he has a track record as does Commissioner Farrell.
But do not believe us. Just read the record and speak with his fellow board members.
As for the Sierra Club it is good organization.
The voters should know how the endorsements were done.
Did all seven candidates apply? Were they all contacted? Was there an interview process?
We do find it interesting that the PAC formed to support Bonitz, Perry and Shipp by former members of Pittsboro Matters had the same team that got endorsed by the Sierra Club. Was this coordinated or mere happenstance?
