Subject: scam?
I was driving south on siler city Glendon rd. Passed the southern states yard , then the maxway parking lot. Noticed a tan sedan stopped at the stop sign on the park rd on left. It waited there as I was driving past maxway. Just as I was reaching that intersection it pulled out and crossed right in front of me. I hit the brake and horn at the same time barely missing broad siding her.
I questioned what the H was going on. The car was driven by a Hispanic woman. Was she blind? Why did she wait until I was almost to the intersection before blowing off the stop sign and crossing in front of me.
Then I remembered a scam I was warned about that was happening years ago. A car would sweave in front of you and slam on their brakes. All the people in car claiming injuries.
Is/was this a new scam? Or someone whose eyesight is questionable?
Either way watch out.
