Chatham and Lee County residents! CCCC Continuing Education is now offering my regular college Bible courses this Spring.  Our first offering this Fall was very successful.

These are not “bible studies” , but college and seminary type learning focusing not on what is IN the bible but WHY it is in there, using history, culture, and certain big principles for increased understanding. We look at MOTIVATION: why did the writers write what they wrote. Why did God and the people do and say what they did.

I require no textbook for these, instead providing class notes and handouts.. As with my regular classes, an approved Study / Commentary Bible is required ¦ contact me before buying one.  Tuition is only $125.

There are no tests. “Understanding the New Testament” will be at Pittsboro campus, Mondays 6-9PM beginning Jan 14 to April 1 (12 weeks). “Understanding the Old Testament” will be Thursdays 6-9PM beginning Jan 17 to April 4 at the Cond Ed complex. It is 5910 Enterprise Park Rd, off Deep River Rd, on the Pittsboro side of Sanford.

Registration is Walk In, Call In (Chatham 919-545-8033; Lee 919-718-7080), or on line (go to CCCC’s page; at top right “Services & Offices” , then scroll down to Cont Ed, then “find classes” , type in your class).  Feel free to call me 919-815-1512 or email  with any questions.
