Subject: Music in Bynum doesn’t end Sept. 1 this year!!
Bynum Front Porch Friday Night music’s LAST SHOW OF THE SEASON is Friday night! Tommy Edwards Bluegrass Experience! But don’t cry tomorrow!
We are excited to announce a new music series is being added! House concerts on third Fridays, Sept.through April. The first show is September 21 withthe wonderful Chatham Rabbits!
The house concerts will be indoors and refreshments available. The music isfrom 7-9pm at 950 Bynum Road, Pittsboro, NC in the historic Bynum General Store. The schedule is “fixed!!”

>>> Also this fall, our famous STORYTELLING shows return on second Saturdays, September through May. The first show is September 8.
The tellers are varied! NC Storytelling Guild members, newbie storytellers, local folks that just like to spin a good yarn… Whether they’re telling true stories, tall tales or lies you will be very entertained! It’s a cozy way to spend the evening in the Bynum General Store. (As we say, “If these walls could talk!”) There are refreshments and time for visiting too!
>>> Plus, our BLUEGRASS JAM session is in it’s ninth year!!! Meeting on second and fourth Saturdays from 10am – Noon, year round, it’s an acoustic circle jam. Singers, new pickers (… spoons, washboards…) and audience members are all very welcome!
>>> All our fall/winter events are inside the in the historic Bynum General Store, at 950 Bynum Road – not far from Pittsboro, NC. The events are freebut we pass the pith helmet. A $10 donation is requested.
Bynum Front Porch is a non-profit organization and maintains the Bynum General Store as a meeting and performing space. We host, shows, scout troops and workshops too. The retired general store is a great gathering spot for birthday parties, local charities’ fundraisers, wedding receptions and family reunions. It is available for rent.
