Subject: Internet Alternatives
I used to be one of ones who suffered with Centurylink, for far too long. I actually lost the ability to telecommute because of it.
I now live in the rural part of Snow Camp and have Time Warner Cable. While Randolph Comm won’t come out that far, maybe TWC can. Check with folks and see how far the line runs up 87. Present the interest from the neighbors and see if TWC will entertain the idea of expanding. We were fortunate that our neighbors and community did the leg work prior to us buying our home. Because of my past experiences with Centurylink, when we were shopping for home, we were set on finding somewhere that had services other than them.
I know this area of 87 well and even Verizon doesn’t work out there. Satellite internet is very expensive and not stable either. I hope that you folks are able to get resolution soon.
