Subject: High Cost of Water in Chapel Ridge Community
Responding to the question on the cost of water at Chapel Ridge:
The Chapel Ridge developers contracted directly with the Town of Pittsboro to run the water line all the way up 87 to feed your development. My guess is that you are paying for that singular service, including the line, since this development did not fall within planned concentrated services of either the Town or the County. Most in that area is agriculture, and/or depends on well and septic services.
