Subject: Special Needs Sports and Social Group
Do you have a family member or care for someone with special needs. Do you want a judgment free place for them to go to make friends, have fun and learn some life skills, if so, Chatham STAR WARriors is the group for you. We are a BRAND NEW Sports and Social Group for kids of all ages and disabilities in Chatham County. We are launching this group on April 14th at Mary B Holmes park from 2pm to 4pm. This is mainly an activity and information day, a chance to get to know us and us to know you. Some of the activities planned for this day are: an obstacle course, soccer practice, Corn holing, Pokemon Go and a cooking demonstration.
Our aim is that this will be a group for the kids, and guided by the kids interests. If this sounds like something you might be interested in then we’d love to meet you. Can’t make that day but want to join us then you can contact us at either chathamstarwarriors@
