One more strike against CenturyLink

Subject: One more strike against CenturyLink

I still have landline phone service with CenturyLink because I can’t get good cell coverage at my house.  (Luckily, I don’t have to deal with them for internet.)  Even though I’m supposedly signed up on the ‘do not call’ list, I get many daily junk phone calls.  With caller ID I can usually avoid answering them, except when they’re disguised as a local call.  They’re almost always robo calls.  I got a call at 7:45 AM the other day!

I was told about a free service called Nomorobo that seems like just the fix I need.  Well, when I looked them up, and put in the necessary info to sign up, they informed me that CenturyLink doesn’t subscribe to their service.  They provided a CenturyLink ‘Customer Service’ number for me to call.  Well…that was useless.  The only options were reporting telephone line or billing problems.  Trying to contact the CenturyLink website is no better.  There’s no place to write in a comment or request..  They only recommend signing up for the worthless ‘do not call’ list.

Decades ago when ATT was finally stopped from being the only phone service available, I swore I’d never go back to them ever.  Now, I wish I could.  I’m still stuck with no choice, bad service, and a company I hate.

Just thought I’d add my two cents to the multitude of other complaints…
