STROBILUS ARTS presents SONAM on May 7
At 3:00 this Saturday the virtuoso Singers of New and Ancient Music return to Strobilus under the direction of Allan Friedman. They will present an equally evocative and whimsical program of early and contemporary vocal compositions about animals to benefit Chatham Animal Rescue and Education (CARE). Selections include works by Palestrina, Handl, Ockeghem, and Passereau, spanning the fourteenth through the twentieth centuries.

Presented in the sanctuary of the Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill, Strobilus curates a diverse selection of primarily acoustic performances for the aesthetic enrichment of the community.
Admission to all events is free with a suggested donation. We welcome everyone, and our building is fully ADA accessible.
