I appreciate Mr Hicks correction on the voting record of Mike Cross. The acts he described were measures recommended by the conservative boards of 2010-2014 to save taxpayers money while maintaining the intent of the old regulation.
But then, one party is known to tax and spend. That party is in power now. Mike represents an old line in the Democratic party that was conservative. I guess he is no longer welcome in the new party. Or the splinter of the new party. All very confusing, doncha know.
On countywide zoning, he listened to the residents, landowners and business owners in the western, previously unzoned part of the county. They did not want zoning. But, hey, the present leadership does. So Mike made the compromise.
