Charlie Brooks, on Charlie Brooks Rd south of Pittsboro, does good work. I haven’t used him in a couple years – call 919-542-2079 to make sure he’s still in business.
Gum Springs Garage on the corner of NC 87 and Silk Hope-Gum Springs Rd north of Pittsboro, is also good.
Town & Country Hardware, in Chatham Downs on 15-501, also does Stihl service (nice folks, and I’ve bought a Stihl saw and saw parts there, but I’ve never used them for service, so I can’t vouch for the quality).
