Hip Health –  Monday, December 28th, 1:30pm

Not only does the hip provide support for the spine, it’s also a meeting point for the groin, hamstring and quadriceps muscles. Your hips are very stable. When they are healthy, it takes great force to hurt them. However, playing sports, running, overuse, some diseases, sitting for long periods of time, or falling can all sometimes lead to weak, inflexible, and/or injured hips.  Come to this clinic to learn some exercises and stretches to help keep your hips healthy.

DCFL Fitness Clinics are 30-minute informative sessions on a wide range of health and fitness-related topics.  Space is limited – registration is required.  Call DCFL at 919-545-2133 or stop by our Member Services Desk to register.    These clinics are free and open to everyone, so register with a friend!

Duke Center for Living at Fearrington Health and Fitness Center is conveniently located on the Galloway Ridge campus at 100 Clynelish Close, just south of Fearrington Village on 15/501 in Pittsboro.
