Subject: Please do not cross businesses off your list because of the owners’ politics
I’ve seen a few chatlist postings over the last few weeks or months complaining about the politics of the owner of Bella Donna and suggesting people not go there because of that.
I’m not sure what it accomplishes to avoid local businesses because of the owners’ politics. In the end we all still have to live in this community together and surely we want our local businesses to succeed.
We don’t need to increase divisiveness or political tribalism in the county by self-segregating to only patronize businesses where the owners and other customers agree with us.
