Subject: Peaches and cream . .
They have always said ‘Life is just a bow of cherries’- ‘Don’t take it serious, life’s too mysterious- You work, you save and you worry soooooooooo- But you can’t take your dough, when you go.’ I am not so fond of cherries anyway, considering the origin and usually high price. I’ll take peaches any day, even tho I can’t bear to touch that fuzzy, wuzzy peeling –
For me, recently, life has been neither a bowl of cherries nor peachy- It seems walking the straight and narrow path, doing one’s best just doesn’t work anymore. The ability to get, use and manage money seems to be a skill I no longer possess.
Everything I own, either needs repairs, replacing or updating. Ignoring hasn’t solved one problem yet. And I have found, that the act of ignoring is termed ignor-ance. And that certainly makes sense.
Once in a while I have my peaches with cream, sometimes with ice cream . .. . but I’ll be blamed if I am going to stand on the top rung of the ladder to pick that one at the very top of the tree- Sure as hell, it will have worms- The fumes from Hyway 64 just weren’t strong enough to kill off everything . . .
