JOIN US – LADIES AUXILIARY FOR VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS
Unwavering Support for Uncommon Heroes

VFW POST 7313 in Pittsboro is gaining momentum on re-starting the Ladies Auxiliary. The post members have voted an approval for an Auxiliary, and we’re preparing the application now. We need a minimum of 20 charter members to be approved by the state organization.
The Auxiliary can be active in many areas and respond with needed support for veterans. Our post believes in reaching out to contact and offer assistance to all veterans. The national organization also provides guidance for participation in student scholarships, cancer aid and research, veterans’ hospitals, legislative concerns, and much more. There are also benefits for the members. Consider the social aspect; it’s an opportunity to meet great people who are passionate about America, and about taking care of Veterans and their families. And if you join now, you will be a Charter Member.
Ladies Auxiliary is not just for wives anymore. Members are the female relatives of those who served overseas in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Global War on Terrorism.
· Members must be citizens of the United States and at least 16 years old
· A woman who is eligible is a: wife, widow, mother, foster or stepmother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, foster or stepdaughter, sister, half-sister, foster or stepsister.

ONE NOTE: Don’t sign up for anything online. We need to route everything through our Post so that the numbers definitely count for us to obtain our charter.
If you’re interested, please reply to the email below with your full name; the Veteran’s full name and era of service (overseas conflict); how you are related to this Veteran; a contact phone number or email. Feel free to ask any questions as well. (No information is shared.)
