Most people hear “liberal” and “socialist” as pejoratives. If you don’t like being called a liberal; don’t act like one.

logickal cryptik and Paul Tierney really do make sense. i was kinda lumping Al Cooke into that big pot of “liberal” and/or “socialist” when I lumped Al’s comments into the common “liberal-speak” of the day. “If you have a business, trucks brought you stuff on highways provided by the government.” (paraphrased) (and true)

I get it. Most people hear “liberal” and “socialist” as pejoratives. Using those words about good people is mean. Being a bully. No one likes to be called a “liberal” and/or “socialist”.

Help me here. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, can we call it a duck? If we lose our liberties and rights, can we call it liberal or socialist behavior? If you support liberal and/or socialist causes, you will be called a liberal and/or socialist. If you want to turn back time to take away our rights and liberty, you are REGRESSIVE not progressive.

“Well I am not a liberal. But I do support that _________________.” (liberal agenda/cause). “But don’t call me a liberal because it does not make me feel good about myself.” If you sleep with dogs you will wake up with fleas.

I am no longer going to sit idly by while liberals and socialists pretend they are nice people while they push us all toward national suicide without individual and unalienable rights and liberty to become a police state. Not this year. Not next. But it is coming.

If you don’t like being called a liberal; don’t act like one. If you don’t like being called a socialist, don’t expect the government to steal everyone’s private property and distribute wealth according to YOUR expectations. If someone writes a Chatlist post advocating a liberal or socialist cause or agenda, we all should speak up and denounce that behavior. The longer we wait to respond, the more difficult will be the remedy.
