Subject: Goodnite Mark and his daughter’s graduation costs
Mark, honestly, I don’t understand where this $1000 projected cost for your daughter’s graduation from UNCG comes from.
A look at the UNCG website shows only a single fee of $55 (http://www.uncg.edu/reg/Com/GradFee.html). The website says that that fee covers the cost of degree audits and evaluations; the diploma, diploma cover, and shipping supplies and expenses; and the commencement ceremony.
The key element surely is that your daughter completes the requirements for the degree and that the University records (that is, her transcript) show that she completed the degree requirements. The $55 fee seems to nail that down pretty well.
So, help us out here: What does the additional $945 go to pay for?
