As you may be aware, RadioShack Corporation filed for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Thursday, February 5th. Dealer-Franchise operated units, such as the one I own here in Pittsboro, are NOT included in this filing.
PLEASE KNOW THIS: We fully intend to remain open and conduct business as long as we serve a useful purpose for our local customer base while at the same time remaining financially viable.
There are many questions that will remain to be answered in the coming months, such as product access and distribution. However, we have been making plans in case of just such an occurrence and have made arrangements to purchase products from alternative distributors if and as necessary.
Thank you for the past 11 years of allowing us to do business with you. With hope and a little luck, we look forward to many more.
