Friday @ 8:30 PM – *Andy Coats and the Bankwalkers*
Based in Raleigh, Andy performs at places big and small, doing as much as he can to keep the blues alive. In addition to writing and recording a new batch of songs, Andy has begun delving more into the so-called “Piedmont” blues and working out the styles of such titans as Blind Boy Fuller and the Rev. Gary Davis. “It’s an amazing technique,” says Andy, “much like the style of piano players. In some ways, I feel like it’s already a part of me since I grew up here.”

Saturday @ 8:30 PM – *Dmitri Resnik*
Dmitri Resnik , a musician from Chatham County North Carolina, began playing guitar at sixteen. From 1989-2001, Resnik lived in New Orleans where he played and toured with his own band and with some of the best musicians in the city. He moved back to Chatham in 2001 where he continues performing his roots, rhythm and blues. Dmitri’s vocals are unmistakably bayou influenced and delivered with a red clay accent
