Subject: Construction Volunteers at Chatham Habitat for Humanity

Chatham Habitat for Humanity is currently building two houses in the Bear Creek area, at 7307 US Highway Old 421 South. We’re excited about the work that we are doing in this community and the families we are building warm and safe homes for.

We are currently putting up roof framing, painting and installing siding on the houses. We are looking for volunteers willing to commit to one or two days per week. Our current construction work days are every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with one hour for lunch.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to meet new friends and learn new skills, or if you would like to schedule a group to come out on Saturday mornings, please contact Mechelle Thompson at 919-542-0794 ext 228 to offer your volunteer services.
