DMV stands for department of motor vehicles not Board of Elections. You don’t depend on a plumber to fix your roof. The democrats stole the local election even with a 30 year low in democrat voter turn out so why are you still whining. There was no DMV related issues or any other disenfranchisement that prevented people who really wanted to vote from voting.

If I remember correctly you were complaining about this sort of thing long before the election so why didn’t you take 5 minutes to suggest your kids check out their voter registrations? It’s like I said in an earlier post both my kids are in school and fit the description of the voters you claim were disenfranchised. My children felt voting was a privilege and a responsibility and took the time to make sure they were correctly registered in their polling precinct. Both took less then five minutes to make a call to clarify they were registered to vote. They made sure there wasn’t a problem to prevent them from voting before it was a problem. It’s not like the election snuck up on us and we had to vote at the drop of a pin. Everyone who wanted to vote had plenty of time to make sure they could vote and were registered correctly before the election. So what’s the difference in my kids and your disenfranchised voters? The difference is my kids are responsible and do not feel entitled to have someone else take responsibility for them. My kids know its not only smart to plan ahead but important to success in life. My children understand hard work, morals and the importance of being not only a good person but a law abiding good citizen.

It’s not a disenfranchisement issue it’s an entitlement issue. The only ones disenfranchised are either very irresponsible, lazy or illegal and don’t need to vote in my opinion.. There is nothing American about assuming that someone else did something you were supposed to do for yourself. America was built by people who were responsible for themselves, people who didn’t leave important things that affected their lives and privileges up to someone else. They took control of their own lives and futures to not just survive but to flourish. They never made excuses they voted and made things happen. So you tell me Virginia what makes these supposedly disenfranchised people any better than the rest of us? If you want to vote it’s your responsibility to make sure you can vote not some government agency, not the schools, not the teachers but yours and yours alone. You either vote or you don’t it’s that simple.
