Virginia you proved that falling back on catchy quotes and sayings is a democratic fail safe . You also proved that playing the blame game is a democratic strong point and platform necessity . You have again strayed from what’s chathamcentric to state and national politics . So lets play your game with a quote . A penny saved is a penny earned , Ben Franklin . So far you haven’t related as to how your candidates will make a difference just told us that they will . You haven’t explained in detail how they will bring this miraculous change into effect nor have you explained how they will pay for it . You have pointed out all sorts of problems with republicans on a state level but not really pointed out failures with our current commissioners just differences of opinion with a few insults .

Do you not think for even one second its important to invest in business to create more jobs ? How are your candidates going to create an environment that grows new business and industry ? Do you think that companies really care about water fountains and quaint little down town areas when they look at the big picture as to where they want to locate a new facility . It still sounds like your trying to buy votes by promising things that appeal to average people banking on the fact most are idiots and don’t realize all these free things cost them money in new taxes . If you really want to invest in students , farmers , working class then you must create jobs .. How are your candidates going to create jobs to put people to work ? How are they going to spend more and reduce taxes ? I need details not a generalized eloquent speech full of grand sounding ideas and promises . Keep it chathamcentric , I want to know how they will make a difference here in Chatham not statewide .

Don’t even get me started on moral Monday because the bottom line is , you have to have a valid ID to buy alcohol , get a real job , go to any hospital now , buy firearms , and get medicine from a drug store so having one to vote isn’t disenfranchisement it common sense .

Me afraid ? Fear is a common sensible reaction to something you know will hurt you . Bravery is to grab it by the horns and wrestle it to the ground so it wont defeat you . I am not a republican and I do not endorse either party . I am an independent thinker and voter . Goodnite Mark
