Subject: Followup on “Century Link Bait and Switch?”
The day my note appeared on the Chatlist I was contacted by a Centurylink rep who wished to resolve the problems where my bill was over 250% greater than the cost on the ad and what I was informed over the telep hone it would cost, and my attempts to correct this over the phone failed.
When I switched to a “lower priced plan” and “made sure” my bill would indeed be the price I was quoted – $37.50, the bill I received showed the plan’s cost to be almost 300% greater ($93.00). A second rep was referred to me and assured me he would fix it.
I’ll let you know if this comes through when I get the next bill.
