Happy camel day Chatlisters! We’re gonna help ya get over that hump with a whole lotta stuff going on over at the Tap this first Sunday week/weekend just like always. Oh, and just so you all know, we’re gonna have a big ole Halloween celebration this year with Be the Moon, including a costume contest, so get your creative costume ideas flowing and gear up for a great time!

Wednesday @ 8:00 -* Open Mic*
Come check out some of Pittsboro’s talent at Open Mic! As always on Wednesdays it’s $1 off draft beer as well

Thursday @ 8:00 -* Vinyl Lounge*
Come on out and take in your weekly allowance of vinyl as Caleb spins from his wide selection of LP’s and 45’s drawing influence from Motown and 70’s funk.

Friday @ 8:30 PM – *Last Tuesday*

Saturday @ 8:30 PM – *Michael Rank & special guest* *Chip Robinson*
Engraved as “outlaw folk”, “damaged country”, “alternative appalachian”, and “shattered mountain music”, Michael Rank’s work has been marked as many things by many folks. It’s a soundtrack with Keith Richards, Steve Earle and Chris Knight as founding fathers. Some people epitomise rock and roll…Rank is such a person. His rock and roll attitude permeates every part of his songs.

Sunday @ 3:00 – *Gasoline Stove*
Singer/songwriter/novelist Scott Morgan, with former Memphis the Band bandmates, Jeremy Thompson(drums), Pete Lucey(accordion/piano), and Shannon Culp Morgan(vocals/percussion), along with Jon Baughman (Sarah Shook and the Devil), come together in this unique americana/roots revival.
Harmonies, piano, accordion, and a slapping upright bass lead this hauntingly beautiful storytelling extravaganza.

Cheers!
