Greetings Dear Chathamites,
I just got my propane tank filled.
If you want the best price NOW is the time to shop around and get ‘r done.
I paid $2.10 from Cooper Gas in Sanford.
When I asked they were kind enough to not charge me tank rent ($75.00/year) if I got at least 100 gallons delivered. Remember to ask about not getting charged tank rent!
Also there are extra charges including a Fuel Recovery fee and a Haz Mat fee. I still saved more than $1.40/gallon plus the $75.00! from ordering in the heating season.
