Mr. Graybeal’s email would have us believe that Commissioners Bock, Petty and Stewart should be disqualified because of the responsible positions they hold in business.
In an attempt to explain his email, Mr. Graybeal post in the Chatlist doubles down on his same accusation for disqualification Bock, Petty and Stewart have jobs!!!
His solution? Lets have Commissioners that work long and hard and who schedule more meetings.
How about Commissioners that will build results, and JOBS FOR CHATHAM COUNTY? How about caring about the future of our County and preparing our children with an education where jobs are waiting for them?
It seems that Mr. Graybeal’s measurement for success is whether Commissioners are burning the candle late into the night.
What is next? Will Mr. Graybeal and his team focus on state and national issues in order to take the focus away for the significant progress that has been made in our county or the opportunities that future holds? This is basketball country. We can see the head fake coming.
Democrats, Unaffiliated and Republican voters will weigh the Bock, Petty and Stewart record and their vision for the future. These three Commissioners view their responsibility as an honor to serve our community. And yes they are successful business people as well. Chatham County deserves the very best. Chatham County is open for progress and business.
