Subject: BBQ and Free Concert on Friday, August 15th at RAFI in Pittsboro —
All are welcome!
*Join us for a BBQ and concert at RAFI in Pittsboro on Friday, August 15th from 6 pm – 10 pm. *
We’re having an old-fashioned pig-pickin’ at RAFI’s headquarters near downtown Pittsboro. We’ll have a whole hog prepared on site, as well as plenty of traditional Southern sides and vegetarian meal options. A heaping plate of delicious food will be served for a suggested donation of $6-10. 100% locally-sourced menu.
Beer will be generously provided by Fullsteam Brewery and Carolina Brewery. (Tips and donations gladly accepted.)
The Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI) cultivates markets, policies and communities that support thriving, socially just, and environmentally sound family farms. All proceeds from the event will benefit RAFI’s work on behalf of family farmers.
*Featuring performances by: the Durham Ukulele Orchestra **and the Efland Sheiks. *(Show starts at 6:30 pm with sets throughout the night until about 10 pm.)
