I have stayed off the chatlist for quite a while, as I could not take the ugliness that kept showing its head…when I do start reading it again, all I see is more namecalling, etc.
for your information, I am one of those old hippy liberals, and big friggin deal..if you are so immature that you need to label people, then you need to grow up..namecalling does NOT address the issue, but instead makes you out as being extremely petty and childish.
And frankly, I see a few businesses who have participated in this namecalling, and as of now, I will no longer being doing business with them, since they apparently think my money is not good enough, being liberal and all that…. If this is the way they conduct themselves on the chatlist, then I certainly don’t need to spend my money there..after all, I would not want my “liberal” dollars to contaminate their cash flow.
Once again, gene, as much as I hate it, am unsubscribing yet again.  it is impossible to start a day cheerfully with so much nastiness, and again I applaud you for holding on to the original promise of not censoring the chatlist. I just wish others would be as respectful of each other as they were when the chatlist first started..when a discussion was just that..a discussion.
