*Spring for Literacy Luncheon*
Tuesday, May 6, Galloway Ridge at Fearrington

Chatham Literacy’s Spring for Literacy Luncheon presents Krista Bremer, author of “My Accidental Jihad,” who will discuss the culture clash in her marriage to Ismail. She’s a Californian from a family that debated issues, questioned the rules. Ismail grew up with illiterate parents in a poor Libyan fishing village. A devout Muslim, he follows the rules of his religion, which often seem harsh to Krista.

Proceeds go to help Chatham County adults learn to read and write English and open more opportunities in their lives.

Tickets are $50 ($29 of which is tax deductible).  To register or for more information, visit www.chathamliteracy.org.
