*Chatham Literacy provides free tutor training and free educational materials for both the tutor and adult learner (student).*
*The Literacy Council matches volunteer tutors with adult learners to work together one-on-one or in a small group setting.*
*§  Typical time commitment is 6 months with 1-2 tutoring sessions per week with an assigned adult learner.*
*§  Each tutoring session lasts between 1-2 hours.  Preparation time is up to the individual.  *
