I’m not sure exactly where you’re talking about, but Waffle House got a zoning approval to put in a restaurant in that shopping center last  year.

I was at the PBO BOC meeting when the commissioners approved it;  based on what the Waffle House construction foreman said at the time,  I’m surprised it’s not already open.  They had originally intended to go where the New Japan restaurant is now, but lost out on that spot due to  the economy slowdown.

But I haven’t looked at the lot between Lowe’s Drive and the KFC/TB  store lately.  Somebody break ground?
