Subject: Pittsboro Relay For Life Update
The 2014 Relay For Life is in full swing but there is still a desire and time for more teams to be formed. If you would like to understand more about this great cause, please join us this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Northwood High School and we can discuss our plans, how to form a team, and suggest fun, successful fundraisers. It is very gratifying knowing that your efforts are helping to save lives so come on out and join us!!!!
Special events for several of the teams are coming up – the following describes the event and whom to contact:
March 4th 6-9 p.m. Fat Tuesday Supper at Mt Pleasant Methodist Church.
March 8th Father-Daughter Dance $35 per couple contact Shella Levine 919 933-4333
April 6th Relay For Brunch at Pittsboro United Methodist Church – 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. contact Carol Esau
April 26th Relay For Life golf tournament at Chapel Ridge noon shotgun start – contact Phil Sutphin 919 542-1932
Other events will be posted as details are available and the Relay For Life celebration will culminate on Friday May 16th at the Northwood High School.
Please participate in a Relay For Life event whenever you can – you will have fun and help defeat cancer.
