Subject: Jogging in the dark
I nearly hit a jogger as I came around the Courthouse Circle yesterday morning before dawn.
The jogger was crossing the street at Hillsborough and West streets and wearing black with no reflective gear. Even though I was going slow I barely saw her in time. We all want to keep in shape and sometimes our only available time is when it’s dark, but ending up in the emergency room, or worse, is no way to stay healthy. If you have to jog in the dark, please dress so you can be seen.
