Subject: Surprise at Al Cooke’s ironic surprise

My comments toward John Alderman were to show what I think is a conflict of interest.  HIS conflict; NOT mine.  Mr. Alderman posted himself as a retired biologist with relevant and pertinent knowledge BUT he conveniently left out he was hired by Sonny Keisler and the Rocky River Heritage Foundation.  Sonny Keisler had made it known he believed the river was troubled way before he got grant money to hire John Alderman to prove pollution and sue Siler City.  Sonny Keisler has made it public he develops high end subdivisions for profit.  Sonny Keisler is a cornerstone of PittsboroMatters.  What is Sonny Keisler’s vested interest in
PittsboroMatters and why is he so dead set against Chatham Park?

But Al, let’s take a little closer look at your surprise.

You removed your Email Signature from your post (#4868) to avoid professional repercussions.  Your boss probably would not want county extension agents asking private citizens to reveal personal, private information with the “hope of being taken seriously”.  What would your boss say if you came out praising Chatham Park or, heaven forbid, a conservative position?  BECAUSE of all the blow back from liberal Pittsboro Matters types.  But YOU calculated it no big deal to come out against me but maybe make it look like it is not an official position of the county extension office.

You weighed in with your Email ID, LOTS of Chathamites knowing who you are, with your accompanying credibility as a relatively well known person.  I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt you did not post BECAUSE you are a well known person.  The effect is the same regardless.

What do you think would happen if you posted a conservative opinion?  Do you think PMatters would simply ignore you?  Not take you seriously?  Look into your tax records?  Demand your boss reveal how you were double-dipping with Preston Development?  What investments you have?  They would not be able to answer your common sense questions and they would seek to destroy you personally and professionally.  Do liberals fear repercussions from conservatives?  Conservatives are WAY more tolerant.  We ALL know it.

Thomas Paine’s writings were called, “Common Sense” but King George called it sedition and a hanging offence.

Are you trying to intimidate me with your power and influence?  This IS “high tech lynching” of anyone who dares disagree with PittsboroMatters.  If the situation were reversed Al, you would be retired in 90 days.  But I
think you’re safe.

Feel more like being anonymous next time?

Shall we all cheer now?
