Subject: John Alderman’s Post re Chatham Park.
It sounds as though Mr. Alderman, “a professional in this area” should have a face-to-face meeting with Mr. Goodnight and evaluate the plans for Chatham Park with him. He could then tell the rest of us more accurately how much attention Chatham Park organization will pay to the environmental impact so many new people will certainly have and what techniques will be used to mitigate that impact. He might also further evaluate the economic impact: taxes, services, jobs, and the social impact: light, noise, traffic, and volunteers.
Maybe the EDC can arrange such? Or the Mayor of PIttsboro?
Would citizens living in Chatham Park vote in Pittsboro municipal elections or only in county elections?
