Fourth sector businesses are often referred to as hybrids, since they have a primary social or environmental mission (like a non-profit), while earning a significant portion of their revenues (like a for-profit).  The fourth sector includes many social enterprises, enterprising non-profits, cooperatives, and triple-bottom-line businesses. This seminar is for individuals and organizations throughout North Carolina who are interested in starting, growing, or supporting fourth sector businesses.
