Subject: Caregiving Workshop
The Council on Aging is holding a workshop-“Preparing for Caregiving” – on January 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Pittsboro Senior Center.
The speaker will be Brett Moraes, Manager of the Council on Aging’s Family Caregiver Support Program. Brett will talk about the impact of caregiving for spouses and parents whether you are currently caregiving or foresee it in the future. He will present programs Chatham County and North Carolina offer to support caregivers, resources, support groups and the Powerful Tools for Caregivers class designed to support caregivers in taking care of themselves while taking care of someone else.
