Wow! Did lilly white liberal politician Kathie Russell really decide to play the race card.

Looks like it!

In her announcement for house seat 54, Kathie Russell made the following statement – “Also a point of pride during her tenure was the construction and naming of the LEED Gold Margaret Pollard Middle School in North Chatham, which was only the second school named for an African-American in the system.”

Hey Kathie –

How racist were previous school boards who came up with school names like North Chatham, Pittsboro Elementary, Siler City School, Bennett, Bonlee, Moncure, Silk Hope, Chatham Middle, Chatham Central? It appears that at least 9 of the seventeen Chatham County schools were named after their locations.

And does your political correctness allow you to admit that it may have been somewhat appropriate to name Chatham County schools after former school superintendent Perry Harrison and long-tim educator Virginia Cross?

In essence, your decision to play the race card when it comes to Chatham county schools makes you look petty and trivial. But that’s not really a surprise, is it?

You would think that someone who is an attorney and claims to have been a protegee of Terry Sanford could exhibit some gravitas.

Oh well, looks like Coalition Kathie is back!

BTW, does being a chauffeur for Terry Sanford REALLY make you his protege?
