Dear Friends,

On Sunday, December 1st in Pittsboro, DOC will be sitting in the parking lot of the old Pittsboro Ford (across from the Hardees by the circle) doing our Cold Noses and Warm Hearts collection for the pups at the Chatham County Animal Shelter. Please go through your closets and feel free to stop by and drop off what you don’t need and we will be happy to bring to the Shelter for you. We will also be collecting plastic doghouses and igloos, hard rubber toys (like Kongs) for our DOC dogs. We will also be collecting bales of wheat straw for our DOC dogs. If you can not bring the bales to us, we have special envelopes made for donations of $5 per bale to make the purchase when needed. This will also be the last week to purchase raffle tickets for our quilted throw handmade and donated by David Post in Arizona. We will have the throw on hand for viewing and tickets available for purchase at $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. The drawing for the winner of the quilted throw will be on December 15th .

Our next fence build will be for Lacy in the Pittsboro area. We will have our normal hot beverages on hand for the volunteers. Please dress in layers it will most likely be cold. The start time will be 10am. We have new tshirts including 3 new colors that will be at the Cold Noses and Warm Hearts Collection and the fence build. Be sure to check them out. If you would like to join us for the fence build please email or call 919-624-1963
