Thanks Gene for the opportunity –

“Why we do what we do?”

What started as a hobby some 40 years ago evolved into a successful Morgan Show stable.  We bred, raised, trained mostly Morgan horses for pleasure riding/driving and the horse show ring.  Our daughter’s were essentially the (original) driving force behind Flintlock Farm.  It’s IMHO a wonderful way to be together as a family!  We continue to operate Flintlock Farm as a  boarding stable in North Chatham County even after our daughters have moved on with their separate vocations.

WHAT WE DO is accommodate boarders (any breed) as our show stable and facilities can support more than just our personal equines!  Our amenities are above average!

WHY WE DO IT is because we enjoy exposing horses of all breeds to the general public via Open Barn Days, 4-H Youth Programs and “Field Days” – the latter 2013 Fall Horse Field Day is Dec 7th, 9AM-3PM here at Flintlock Farm in cooperation with the NC Cooperative Extension Agency – want more info please go to –
