We are a very unique community and we are moving in the right direction albeit slowly and seemingly unnoticeably.

I agree totally with Glenn Carter and Leela Ellis re their comments about Chatham Park.  We Pittsboro residents have every right to say what our community becomes, regarding how the land around us affects us.

If an outside developer mows it down, that affects ALL of us – in water, air, noise, survival of wildlife, how our land is inundated with escaping wildlife, and the style of life the town already is giving us.  There are a lot of jobs being already generated in our unique lifestyle here, and more will occur with people using their innate talents and desire to help others with these talents.

We are a very unique community and we are moving in the right direction albeit slowly and seemingly unnoticeably.

Chatham Park would definitely move us in the wrong direction.

  1. You are so correct. We have a wonderful, unique community. Visiting a shop downtown recently, I looked around. It is just a lovely, warm town. Let’s not change that.
