I just wanted to put out a good word for the new coffee shop in town, Café Diem on E. Salisbury in downtown Pittsboro.

I moved to Pittsboro six years ago, and having lived in places like  Seattle, and even Boone, NC, I’ve really missed being able to get coffee of high quality in a comfortable environment.  Emma opened up this cafe after closing down her unique Davenport art gallery, and I’m really impressed.

It’s cozy, she uses beans roasted in Carrboro, and she has fresh baked goods from the delicious Phoenix Bakery.

If you’re a fan of good coffee and especially espresso, you need to check it out.  Pittsboro finally has a great coffee shop!

caffeinated and satiated,

chris

  1. I agree, Café Diem is great. I go in almost daily to get my coffee fix on my way to class. – Angie
