In an effort to raise much-needed funds for foster care and other animal-related expenses, Chatham Animal Rescue & Education (CARE) is holding a raffle with some very cool prizes:
First Prize: CUSTOM PET PORTRAIT by local artist Kristin Blackwell of Happy Dog Pet Portrait
Second Prize: Shakori Hills Spring Festival passes
Third Prize: Distressed white metal 5′ Garden Trellis
Fourth Prize: Our newly minted 2014 CARE Happy Endings calendar…very cool indeed!
Tickets are $5 for 1, $13 for 3, or $20 for 5 and we’ll hold the drawing at Pittsboro Street Fair Oct. 26 — no need to be present to win! Tickets will be for sale at October’s final Yappy Hour of the season (10/14) at the Carolina Brewery, as well as during the Street Fair.
Tickets are also available from some CARE volunteers. Contact for more info. 100% of the proceeds directly benefit the homeless dogs & cats of Chatham County, who thank you in advance!
CARE is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that promotes responsible pet ownership by educating the community, providing targeted spay/neuter programs, and fostering homeless cats and dogs until they are placed in loving, permanent homes.
