We’ve had a brush hog deck that’s taken quite a beating over the last 5+ years. Every year, we promise ourselves (and the deck!) that we’ll do more than just sharpen the blades, but it’s not something that’s been easy to do.
This year, we got super lucky and met Trevor Routledge who works at Pittsboro Feed. He’s got extensive tractor repair experience and came to our place and trailered the deck out. In a week, top quality welding repairs were made, blades were sharpened, pieces were straightened and the deck was delivered back to the farm. And the price was extremely modest.
We couldn’t recommend Trevor more highly. He also fixes lawn equipment.
