Chatham County Parks & Recreation: Upcoming Events & Registrations

*   We will hold our Family Fun Night at Northwest District Park in Silk Hope (physical address: 2413 Woody Store Road, Siler City) on Friday, August 30th, 2013 beginning at 6:00 p.m.  There will be a super hero costume contest, children’s games, inflatables, and a movie: The Avengers (rated PG-13) will begin showing at dusk.  Concessions will be available to purchase.  This event is free to the public so please join us!
*   We are currently accepting registration for fall team coed softball now until September 6th.  Please call Andrew Harrison for more information at 919-545-8552.
*   We will be holding Zumba class at the Northwest District Park dining hall beginning Wed September 4th and classes will be every Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 until December 18th.  Fee is $80 for 10 classes please contact Rocco at (919) 545-8553 for additional information.
*   Registration for Tumbling Tots will be held on Sept. 4th from 4:00 to  5:00 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation office at 90 East Street Pittsboro – between the Hardees and BP.  Classes will begin on September 11th.  .
