Subject: Chatham News/Record reports incorrect date for Pittsboro work session on Chatham Park
I am a reporter for the Chatham Record who wrote an article on an upcoming Pittsboro Town Board meeting that will include a work session on Chatham Park. The meeting will not be held Monday, August 5, but on Monday, August 12, at 7 p.m. in the CCCC multi-purpose room. Town Board meetings are always held the second and fourth Mondays of the month.
The meeting is open to the public to provide transparency as the commissioners discuss the project. It is not a public hearing.
