I feel sorry for anyone who didn’t make it out last Friday night. The band, Cobwood, was absolutely one of the best I have heard in a long time. Where else could you see a cigar box guitar and wash tub bass along with traditional instruments? Look for future appearance by this great band at Paperbacks Plus!….and don’t miss them next time.

Chatham Trades brought some lovely wreaths to cover any occasion. Love the half UNC half Duke wreath that stated “A House Divided”.

Bass Mountain Pottery had some beautiful jewelry, pottery and very pretty hats. One even had baby bear ears!

Anna Belle’s Goat Milk Soap made their debut appearance and we still have a few bars left at the store…but not for long.

Bear Creek Brews were on hand, as usual, to answer questions, give out samples and educate everyone on the difference between craft beers and those you buy at the grocery store. Who knew? I never liked beer before but now I’m a convert.

Rebekahs’ Flowerart brought her friend, Bird, and the most
amazing art. There are no words to describe her art…except maybe amazing! The detail is fantastic.

Tastes Like More – Cakes By Diane made a repeat appearance – by demand no less. I started getting calls weeks before Third Friday asking if the “Cake Lady” would be there so, of course, we had to make sure she was. No riots allowed. Although, when we started getting low on cake it got kind of “every man for himself” mode.
