The Bynum Front Porch (BFP) community thanks y’all for supporting the June 15th Auction & Estate Sale Fundraiser. The day’s activities began around 10am with spirited bidding. Barney’s Hot Dogs provided the crowd with delicious choices to munch on. The live auction was called by the fabulous Ben Farrell of Custom Benefit Auctions. This event brought everyone together as neighbors and friends, connected with a common goal.
The BFP Benefit Auction and Estate Sale supports the programming of BFP and provides resources to allow Bynum Front Porch to lease the property and cover utility costs. The auction also supports Bynum Front Porch’s Annual Grant Awards. Two high school students from Chatham County will each receive a grant – an Arts Student Grant for those students who will be entering college to seek an Arts Degree and an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Student Grant, an in-school academic support program for grades 9-12 that prepares students for college eligibility and success.
Thank you again for supporting this benefit auction by making a donation or coming to volunteer or bid on items. Join the fun at the Bynum General Store at 7pm Friday nights through the end of August for the Friday Night
Music Series and on the first Saturday of each month there’s Bingo featuring lots of fun and prizes — check the website for the BFP calendar.
